• Launching the Application
• 1. Open the application from your desktop or start menu.
• 2. You will be directed to the main interface of the Fouling-Factor Calculator.

Step 1: Select Fluid Classification

• Classification Drop-down: Choose the appropriate fluid classification from the drop-down menu. This classification is based on TEMA standards.
• Fluid State: After selecting a fluid classification, the application will populate the “Fluid State” drop-down menu with relevant options.

Step 2:Select Fluid State and Process Stream

• Fluid State: Choose the state of the fluid (e.g., liquid, gas) from the drop-down list.
• Process Stream: Based on the selected fluid state, the application will display relevant process streams in the drop-down menu.
• 1. If the process stream includes a velocity range, these will be listed in the corresponding drop-down menu.
• 2. If no velocity range is applicable for the selected stream, "NA" (Not Applicable) will appear.

Step 3:Unit Selection

• Select Unit: Choose the unit of measurement for the calculation from the drop-down menu. Ensure the selected unit is consistent with your input data

Step 4:Calculate Fouling Factor

• Calculate Button: Click the "Calculate" button to process the data.
• View Results: The application will display the fouling factor based on your selections.
  Fouling Factor: This value represents the thermal resistance due to fouling, expressed in square meters per watt (m²·K/W)

• Error Messages: Verify that all input fields are correctly filled and ensure valid data ranges.
• Application Issues: If issues persist, try restarting the application or reinstalling it. downloaded.
